As many of our friends know, for the past 12 years, we have spent Father's Day at the Museum of Printing. Well the museum is moving from its old building to a new (to them) facility just 8 miles away in Haverhill. Unfortunately, they won't be ready to open in time for Father's Day this year.
(See www.museumofprinting.org for more info).
We decided to continue our decade long practice of sharing the joy of printmaking on Father's Day with an Open House with printing demonstrations at Muskat Studios. VISIT MUSKAT STUDIOS Sunday, June 19th from 10 am to 4 pm. Please stop by for a visit to view art and see how great prints are made.
(See our website at www.muskatstudios.com for more info.)
In addition to Muskat Studios, the folks at Arbalest Press will also be having an open house on June 19th. Arbalest is a first-of-its-kind printing arts collaborative in Boston, dedicated to teaching letterpress printing and book arts while also producing an array of letterpress works. Arbalest is in Charlestown near Sullivan Square.
